Ingredients

  • 1poundfresh ahi steaks, cut into small cubes

  • ¼cupsoy sauce

  • ¼cupchopped Maui onion

  • ¼cupchopped green onion

  • 1chile pepper, seeded and diced (Optional)

  • 2teaspoonssesame oil

  • 2teaspoonstoasted sesame seeds (Optional)

  • 2teaspoonsfinely chopped toasted macadamia nuts (Optional)

  • 1teaspoongrated fresh ginger

  • sea salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Combine ahi cubes, soy sauce, Maui onion, green onion, chile pepper, sesame oil, sesame seeds, macadamia nuts, ginger, and sea salt in a large bowl.

Tips

Substitute yellow onion for the Maui onion if desired.
