Ingredients

  • 1(15 ounce) canmackerel, drained and rinsed

  • 1smallonion, finely diced

  • ¼cuptomato-based hot pepper sauce

  • 2teaspoonssalt, or to taste

  • 1teaspoonground black pepper, or to taste

  • 1cupmayonnaise

Cooking Directions

  1. Remove and discard mackerel skin and bones. In a medium bowl, mix mackerel with onion and hot pepper sauce with a fork, breaking it into small pieces. Mix in mayonnaise, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
