Ingredients

  • 1(14.5 ounce) candiced tomatoes

  • 1(6 ounce) cantomato paste

  • ¾cupfresh broccoli florets

  • ¾cupthinly sliced carrots

  • ¾cupsliced onion

  • ½cupzucchini chunks

  • ½cupsliced green bell pepper

  • ½cupred bell pepper, sliced

  • 2clovesgarlic, chopped

  • 2bay leaf

  • 1tablespoonolive oil

  • ½teaspoondried basil

  • ½teaspoondried rosemary

  • ½teaspoondried oregano

  • ½teaspoondried thyme

  • 1 ½teaspoonssalt

  • ¼teaspoonground black pepper

  • 1teaspoonwhite sugar

  • ½cupwater

Cooking Directions

  1. In a large pot combine tomatoes, tomato paste, broccoli, carrots, onion, zucchini, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, garlic, bay leaves, olive oil, basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, sugar, and water. Heat to just boiling, cover and reduce heat to simmer. Cook until all vegetable are tender, approximately 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
