Ingredients

  • 6cupsfresh blackberries

  • 1 ½cupswhite sugar

  • 1teaspoonground cinnamon

  • ¼teaspoonground nutmeg

  • 1(15.25 ounce) packageyellow cake mix

  • ½cupmelted butter

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Combine blackberries, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl until evenly blended. Spread evenly into the prepared baking dish.

  3. Place cake mix in a separate bowl. Mix in butter until crumbly; sprinkle evenly over top of berries.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the mixture is bubbly, and the topping is golden brown, 40 to 45 minutes.
