Ingredients

  • ¼cupbutter

  • 1poundpaneer, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

  • 2mediumonions, finely chopped

  • 1mediumgreen bell pepper, chopped

  • 2mediumjalapeno peppers, chopped

  • 1tablespoonground cashews

  • 1teaspoongarlic paste

  • 1teaspoonginger paste

  • 1teaspooncayenne pepper

  • 1teaspoonground cumin

  • 1teaspoonground coriander

  • 1teaspoongaram masala

  • 1(16 ounce) cantomato sauce

  • 1pinthalf-and-half

  • 1teaspoonsalt, or to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add paneer; cook and stir until golden, about 5 minutes. Add onions, bell pepper, jalapeños, ground cashews, garlic paste, ginger paste, cayenne pepper, cumin, coriander, and garam masala; cook and stir until well combined and fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. Mix tomato sauce, half-and-half, and salt into paneer mixture; simmer until thickened, about 30 minutes.
