Ingredients

  • 1cupunsalted butter, softened

  • 3cupsconfectioners’ sugar

  • 2tablespoonsheavy cream

  • cupcherry preserves, or more to taste

  • 1teaspoonvanilla extract

Cooking Directions

  1. Cream butter in a bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in confectioners’ sugar gradually until light and fluffy.

  2. Beat in heavy cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, until frosting reaches spreading or piping consistency. Mix in cherry preserves and vanilla extract.
