Ingredients

  • 3cupswater

  • 2tablespoonsvegetable oil

  • 1teaspoonsalt

  • 2cupsuncooked calrose rice, rinsed

Cooking Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Bring water, oil, and salt to a boil in a saucepan over high heat.

  3. Add rice and cook until the water has just about cooked out; stir. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.

  4. Stir again and serve. Rice may be a little sticky and may stick to the bottom of the pot.
