Ingredients

  • 6ouncesNO YOLKS Extra Broad Noodles

  • 1tablespoonvegetable oil

  • 2clovesgarlic, chopped

  • 1onion, chopped

  • 2carrots, peeled and sliced

  • 2ribscelery, sliced

  • 2bay leaves

  • 2sprigsfresh thyme

  • 1rotisserie chicken, shredded, skin and bones removed*

  • 4quartschicken broth

  • salt and pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and onions and sauté, about 2 minutes.

  2. Add carrots, celery, bay leaves, thyme, chicken, and broth. Bring to a boil. Add noodles. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove bay leaves and thyme sprigs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Tips

*1 rotisserie chicken yields about 4 cups meat.
