Ingredients

  • 1(15 ounce) cankidney beans, drained

  • 1(15 ounce) canlima beans, drained

  • 1(15 ounce) cangreen beans, drained

  • 1(15 ounce) cangarbanzo beans, drained

  • 1(14.5 ounce) canwax beans, drained

  • 1sweet onion, chopped

  • 1green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1red bell pepper, chopped

  • ¾cupwhite sugar

  • cupdistilled white vinegar

  • ½cupvegetable oil

  • ½teaspoondried dill weed

  • ½teaspoondried rosemary

  • ½teaspoondried basil

  • salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix all canned beans with onion and bell peppers in a large bowl.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, dill, rosemary, and basil. Season with salt and stir over medium heat without boiling until sugar dissolves.

  3. Pour warm dressing over bean mixture. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
