Ingredients

  • 2tablespoonswhole mustard seeds

  • 1tablespoonwhole allspice berries

  • 2teaspoonswhole coriander seeds

  • 1teaspoonred pepper flakes, or more to taste

  • 1teaspoonground ginger

  • 2bay leaves, crumbled

  • 2cinnamon sticks, broken in half

  • 6whole cloves

Cooking Directions

  1. Place mustard seeds, allspice berries, coriander seeds, and pepper flakes into a small glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake to combine. Add ginger to the jar, seal, and shake again.

  2. Add crumbled bay leaves, cinnamon stick halves, and cloves to the jar. Seal and shake once more to combine.

  3. Store in a tightly sealed jar for up to 1 month.
