Ingredients

  • 1poundkielbasa sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1tablespoonbutter

  • 1(14 ounce) canbeef broth

  • 1 ½cupswater

  • 1(10.5 ounce) can condensed tomato soup

  • 3cupsshredded cabbage

  • 1onion, chopped

  • ½cupdiced green bell pepper

  • 1 ½teaspoonssalt

  • ½teaspoonground black pepper

  • ¼cupsour cream

Cooking Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add kielbasa and cook until brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Add beef broth, water, and condensed soup, then stir in cabbage, onion, and bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until flavors are well blended, about 45 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through before serving, 2 to 3 more minutes.
