1(14 ounce) cansweetened condensed milk

1(9 inch)prepared graham cracker crust

1(12 ounce) containerfrozen whipped topping, thawed
Cooking Directions

Remove the label from the condensed milk can. Place the can into a large pot and add enough water to cover by 2 to 3 inches. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-high and boil for 4 hours, adding water as necessary to keep the can fully covered.

Use tongs to remove the can from the pot and let cool for about 1 hour. Carefully open the can and pour caramel into graham cracker crust. Refrigerate until caramel is firm, 2 to 4 hours. Top with whipped topping before serving.
