Ingredients

  • 2tablespoonspeanut oil

  • 1poundbroccolini, bottoms trimmed

  • 1cupvegetable broth

  • 1pinchwhite sugar

  • salt to taste

  • 1tablespoonsoy sauce, or more to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccolini and stir-fry until green, glossy, and starting to soften, 3 to 5 minutes. Add broth, sugar, and salt; continue to cook until broth has almost completely evaporated and broccolini is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in soy sauce.

Tips

If you’re not vegetarian, try chicken broth — it adds extra flavor. You can also add garlic if you like.
