Ingredients

  • ½cupmayonnaise

  • cuppure maple syrup

  • ¼cupwhite wine vinegar

  • 1teaspoonwhite sugar

  • ½cupvegetable oil

  • salt and pepper, to taste

  • 3headsbutter lettuce, rinsed, and torn

  • ½cup dried cherries

  • 2Granny Smith apples, cored and cut into matchsticks

  • 4ouncesgoat cheese, crumbled

  • 3ounceschopped candied pecans

Cooking Directions

  1. In the container of a blender, combine mayonnaise, maple syrup, vinegar, and sugar. Cover and blend on low speed. Gradually pour in vegetable oil while mixing until fully incorporated. Taste and season accordingly with salt and pepper. Set aside.

  2. In a large serving bowl, combine lettuce, cherries, apples, goat cheese and candied pecans. Toss with just enough dressing to coat, then serve with remaining dressing on the side.
