Ingredients

  • 4tablespoonsbutter

  • 4tablespoonsall-purpose flour

  • 1 ½cupsmilk

  • 1(16 ounce) packagefrozen peas and onions, thawed

  • salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over low heat. Stir in flour and cook until evenly coated.

  2. Increase the heat to medium, and slowly stir in milk, 1/2 cup at a time. Cook until thick.

  3. Add the peas and onions and cook until hot. Season with salt and pepper.
