Ingredients

  • ½cupall-purpose flour

  • ¾teaspoonlemon pepper

  • ½teaspoongarlic powder

  • ½teaspoononion powder

  • ¼teaspooncelery salt

  • ¼teaspoonseasoning salt

  • 1largeegg, beaten

  • 4potatoes, unpeeled and cut into 1/2-inch-thick wedges

  • vegetable oil as needed, for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Combine flour, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, and seasoning salt in a shallow bowl. Place beaten egg in a second shallow bowl.

  2. Dip potato wedges in beaten egg, then press in flour mixture to coat.

  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  4. Working in batches, fry potatoes in hot oil until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain briefly on paper towels. Serve hot.
