Ingredients

  • 1poundfresh tuna steaks, minced

  • 1carrot, grated

  • ½cuponion, chopped

  • ½cupchopped fresh chives

  • 2eggs

  • cuppanko crumbs or breadcrumbs

  • 1tablespoonmayonnaise

  • garlic salt to taste

  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 1tablespoonolive oil

Cooking Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together tuna, carrot, onion, chives, eggs, panko crumbs, and mayonnaise. Season with garlic salt and black pepper. Form into patties.

  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Arrange patties in the pan and cook uncovered until golden brown, about 10 minutes per side.
