Crazy Delicious Egg Roll in a Bowl Recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2tablespoonsolive oil

  • ½cupdiced sweet onion

  • ½cupgrated carrot

  • 1teaspoonminced garlic

  • ½poundground chicken

  • ½cupbulk pork sausage

  • 4 ½cupssliced cabbage

  • ½cupwater

  • 2tablespoonstamari

  • 1tablespoonhoney

  • ½teaspoonground ginger

  • ½teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper

  • ¼teaspoonsalt

  • 1teaspoonsesame oil (Optional)

Cooking Directions

  1. Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot) and select Saute function. Add olive oil, followed by onion, carrot, and garlic; cook until onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes. Add ground chicken and ground sausage and cook until browned, 5 to 10 minutes.

  2. Stir in cabbage, water, tamari, honey, ginger, pepper, and salt. Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturer’s instructions; set timer for 10 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

  3. Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer’s instructions, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir and add sesame oil.

Tips

You can use brown sugar instead of honey if you like.
