Ingredients

  • 6sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks

  • ½cupbutter

  • 2clovesgarlic, minced

  • 1teaspoondried basil

  • ½teaspoondried thyme

Cooking Directions

  1. Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes; drain.

  2. Transfer potatoes to a large bowl; add butter, garlic, basil, and thyme. Use a potato masher to mash until smooth.
