How to Use:
Place a 2 1/2-pound tri-tip steak in a glass baking dish. Pour marinade over top and turn steak several times to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator, 8 hours to overnight. When ready to cook, remove steak from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard any remaining marinade. Roast steak in a baking dish in an oven preheated to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) oven until nicely browned on the outside and reddish-pink and juicy in the center, about 45 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 130 degrees F (54 degrees C) for medium-rare.
