Ingredients

  • 1poundground beef

  • ¾cupdiced onion

  • ¾cupdiced celery

  • ¾cupdiced green bell pepper

  • 2clovesgarlic, minced

  • 2(10.75 ounce) cans tomato puree

  • 1(15 ounce) cankidney beans with liquid

  • 1(15 ounce) cankidney beans, drained

  • 1(15 ounce) cancannellini beans with liquid

  • ½tablespoonchili powder

  • 1teaspoonsalt

  • ¾teaspoondried basil

  • ¾teaspoondried oregano

  • ½teaspoondried parsley

  • ¼teaspoonground black pepper

  • teaspoonhot pepper sauce

Cooking Directions

  1. Place beef in a skillet over medium heat and cook until evenly brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain grease.

  2. Transfer beef to a slow cooker and mix in onion, celery, bell pepper, garlic, tomato puree, kidney beans, and cannellini beans. Season with chili powder, salt, basil, oregano, parsley, black pepper, and hot pepper sauce.
