Ingredients

  • 1large headcabbage, shredded

  • 1green bell pepper, diced

  • 1onion, finely diced

  • 1 ½largecarrots, shredded

  • 1cupwhite wine vinegar

  • 1cupvegetable oil

  • 1cupwhite sugar

Cooking Directions

  1. Combine cabbage, bell pepper, onion, and carrots in a large bowl.

  2. Whisk together vinegar, oil, and sugar in a medium bowl. Pour enough dressing over cabbage mixture to coat; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Drain any excess liquid, toss, and serve cold.
