1(1 pound) loaffrozen bread dough, thawed

1poundbulk Italian sausage

2cupsshredded mozzarella cheese

8ouncessliced fresh mushrooms

1smallonion, chopped

2teaspoonsolive oil

1(28 ounce) candiced tomatoes, drained

¾teaspoondried oregano
-
½teaspoonsalt
-
¼teaspoonfennel seed

¼teaspoongarlic powder

½cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese
Cooking Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Press dough into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Crumble sausage into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Remove sausage with a slotted spoon and sprinkle over the dough crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over sausage.

Add mushrooms and onion to the skillet; cook and stir until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, fennel seed, and garlic powder. Spoon over mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven until crust is golden brown, 25 to 35 minutes.
