Ingredients

  • 1 ½cupsquick-cooking oats

  • ¼cupwhite sugar

  • 1teaspoonbaking powder

  • ¾teaspoonsalt

  • ½cupmilk

  • ¼cupbutter, softened

  • ¼cupapplesauce

  • 1egg, beaten

  • 1teaspoonvanilla extract

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Combine oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Add milk, butter, applesauce, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until a smooth, thin consistency is reached. Pour oatmeal into the prepared baking dish.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, 25 to 30 minutes.

Tips

You can bake this in muffin tins for individual serving (fill 3/4 full). Before you bake, add some canned raspberry pie filling to the top.
