Ingredients

  • ¼cupbutter

  • 1cupchopped celery

  • ¼cupchopped onion

  • 12cupswater

  • 4cupschopped, cooked chicken meat

  • 9cubes chicken bouillon

  • ¼cupchopped carrots

  • 1tablespoondried parsley

  • ½teaspoondried marjoram

  • ½teaspoonground black pepper

  • 1bay leaf

  • 8ouncesegg noodles

Cooking Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Melt butter in a large stockpot over medium-high heat. Sauté celery and onion in hot butter until slightly softened.

  3. Add water, chicken, bouillon, carrots, parsley, marjoram, pepper, and bay leaf. Simmer for 30 minutes.
