Ingredients

  • 1(18.25 ounce) packageyellow cake mix

  • 1(3.4 ounce) packageinstant vanilla pudding mix

  • ½teaspoonground nutmeg

  • ½teaspoonground cinnamon

  • 1cupapplesauce

  • ¼cupvegetable oil

  • 4eggs

  • ½cupwater

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease and flour three 8×4-inch loaf pans.

  2. In a large bowl, stir together cake mix, instant pudding mix, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add applesauce, oil, eggs, and water. Blend for 3 to 4 minutes using an electric mixer. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.

  3. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
