Cooking Directions

Heat 1/4 inch oil in a large, heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Working in small batches, fry tortilla wedges in hot oil until crisp, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain on paper towels. Season warm chips with salt.
Tips
The chips can be baked in an oven preheated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until crisp, about 5 minutes.
